Chitwan National Park

Day 1 :
Arrive in Kathmandu.
Here you will stay for 2 nights The afternoon will be at
leisure and you may wish to explore the capital on your own.
Day 2 :
In Kathmandu.
Today you will visit the 2000-year-old Swayambhunath and the
Machendranath Temple. Then continue to Durbar Square where you
will visit the temple of the living Goddess Kumari. She
blesses her devotees from the Kasthamandap; a pagoda built
using the timber from a single tree and the origin of
Kathmandu’s name. The afternoon is free. |
